Production Assistant and Shipping Specialist

Part-Time Position Available
Starting Salary $18 Hourly
approx. 15-20 hours weekly

LUCKY + DOG creates handmade dog gear right here in Austin, Texas using high-quality materials that are durable and long-lasting.
Daily tasks would include, receiving orders, prepping materials (cutting webbing and sewing lables), pulling parts components, assembling products, printing shipping labels and fulfilling orders from our online and wholesale sales channels.
Who are we looking for?
-A detail-oriented person. We are proud of our high-quality collars and leashes and our clients expect to receive a well-constructed product. We are looking for someone who shares our desire to create beautiful products and is proud of what they create each day.
-A self-starter who is self-motivated and self-sufficient. If you enjoy working independently this is the job for you! Put on some music or a podcast while you work or enjoy the peace and quiet in our workshop.
-A willingness to learn. We use industrial sewing machines to create our products. It is easy to learn but requires care and precision. We will provide training and make sure you are confident in your abilities. No prior sewing experience is required.
-A willingness to learn our product fulfillment and shipping processes using Shopify and ShipStation software applications.
-A person who loves dogs and enjoys working for a company that gives back to dog rescue groups.
-This is the perfect position for someone who is looking for part-time work and is willing to grow with the company into a potentially full-time position.
